BEEF

Our Beef Suckler herd centres around Aberdeen Angus cows which are crossed with a pedigree Aberdeen Angus or Belgian Blue bull.  We have found that this breeding produces calves of great shape and with just the right amount of muscle:fat ratio to provide quality, tender meat with exceptional taste.

 

LAMB

Our flock of hardy North Country Mule sheep graze the fields all year round.  Lambing occurs during Mid-Spring and the lambs are left to graze and mature slowly.

PORK

We believe that the traditional breeds of pig provide the best tasting pork and we like to use our own out-door reared Large White and Gloucester Old Spot pigs wherever possible in our shop, supplementing supplies with locally sourced pork whenever necessary.
